Malnutrition, poor health, slowdown in development, psychological problems that persist into adulthood are what children are subject to when they grow up in poverty. In Fonhelph we are sensitive to the fate of these children in Haiti, who are growing up in inhuman conditions. We want them to be fulfilled, have a good education and receive adequate health care. We want them even more to taste and enjoy God’s infinite love for them.
The children of today are the adults of tomorrow. When we invest in the lives of children we make sure we have a better Haiti. We help and transform their life for a better future.

One more Children for Jesus
The gospel is a powerful means of transformation.
Children are vulnerable when they are young, so they believe everything they are told. Instead of letting them grow up on anything, let’s feed their minds to the Word of God, the one word that never changes, the truth.
Our approach to evangelize the children is based on the following verse: Matthew 19:14: Jesus said: “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the Kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” (New International Version) Just as Jesus invites us to let children come to him, we invite children to come to Christ through our summer camp programs each year. In associations with many local churches in North-West in Haiti, we bring them to Christ, not by our own will, but with the Holy Spirit.

Christian Education
In summer camps, children give their lives to the Lord, our program of evangelization and investment in children’s lives would not be complete if they heard the word of God only every summer. So we provide training for leaders who work with children, so that they are equipped to ensure the spiritual growth of children throughout the year. They also learn how to supervise, care, and love them according to God’s word.

Child Sponsorship
Parents find themselves unable to pay school fees for their children. As a result, the children no longer go to school after a few years. With the Child sponsorship program, we are committed to helping parents with school fees so that their children can benefit from their right to education.
