Haiti is an island, the poorest in the western hemisphere, where the people are very courageous. Although they face many disasters and challenges in life constantly, and yet, they remain still and they hope for a better future. Despite all of these hardship, the Haitian people are hardworking people, who desire only to provide for their families and to live in peace. They believe the future is anywhere else other than their native country because they struggle to meet then ends on a daily basis without knowing when that cycle of poverty will end. Thus, they travel everywhere looking for well-being and the family is forever divided. But at Helping Hands, there is more than the thought of hope, there is a transformation of that thought of hope into reality.
We as Christian believe that it is our calling to help and serve others. Our focus is on helping the whole family, the most important entity that our Father in Heaven created. Inspired by our faith, we join our resources to promote a better life condition.
Let’s improve the living conditions of families through solidarity because the three-stranded rope does not break easily.
Verse of the week Psalm 91:1
